As you can see in this post there is quite a bit of stone staircases on our order book ! with nearly 25 flights in order we have some busy weeks in front of us. All our stone cantilever stair are made using just a simple cad program, but it is the ingenuity of our draftman and engineers that made them work well, elegantly !

We have now more than 20 flight ahead of us for summer and autumn so it looks like the winter months are going to be very busy !

This year we will be completing another 6 flights stone cantilever staircase for a residential scheme in Central London.

People are always amazed at what can be done with our forgotten and dusty trade. It takes skill, and long hours of apprentiship to transform a hard piece of earth, marble or limestone essentially.

It is a bit like forensic science, we should called it architectural forensic. There is so much to learn from our forefathers. On this simple facade remain some interesting print of the pockets left by the  original stone staircase.

Here we go, our new post tension stone staircase is in production, the 44 steps, 2 flight limestone stair engineer with Webb and Yates is now in production.
