Building Centre – The New Stone Age Exhibition

On the 26th of February 2020 The Stonemasonry Company Limited opened a unique show, showcasing stone as a structural material, featuring a 12 meter post-tensioned beam and slab structure suspended over the crescent in front of The Building Centre, as well as a self supporting stone floor (designed with Webb Yates Engineers), Groupwork’s stone tower, our post tensioned stone staircase alongside the models the stone used for each project from Studio Lada, Elizabeth Polzella, Gilles Perraudin, Studio Ensemble, Anasta and Frederick Carl Svensted.
