This week at the Workshop

At The Stonemasonry Company Limited we take the safety of our staff very seriously, and so over the last few weeks we have been making sure everyone in our team is up to date with all of their qualifications.

Although our expert installation teams have several years experience we still like to make sure everyone is kept up to date by ensuring our team undergoes regular training. In addition to on-site inductions and toolbox talks our teams also complete their HSE Health, Safety and Environment test, along with a full days Safety training (of course), as well as completing our in-house training.

Lastly we also make sure that as many of our team as possible are Emergency First Aid Trained, last week 12 of our team members undertook the full day of training to make sure that they would know how to react in an emergency.

This training not only benefits our employees but also our clients as it ensures that the people we send to site and the people that complete our manufacturing are competent and safe. For our manufacturing facility and offices this training is particularly important due in part to our remote location and for the teams that complete our stone staircase installations this also means they are an asset to whichever site they are working on.

In the past we have had the need to send our teams on specialist training courses in order to facilitate more complex jobs, allowing us to work on a diverse range of projects and allowing our staff to continually learn new transferable skills.

At The Stonemasonry Company Limited we are committed to making sure all of our operatives, whether they are installing a Stone Staircase on site, or Manufacturing at our workshop, hold themselves to the highest possible standards.
