Mayfair Coach House
This unusual 3 floor post tensioned staircase, manufactured in Bauvalle stone was designed to be floating due to the surrounding walls inability to take on the load of a traditional stone staircase. Due to the constraints of the space only an 80mm gap was available between the surrounding wall and the outside of each stone step. Due to the space the design team decided to integrate bespoke lighting to emphasise the suspended elements of the staircase.
