For our masons all our work with stone is 'Commissioned' in that it is bespoke and made to the individual clients requirements. For the purposes of this website 'Commissioned' work is anything that does not fit neatly in to one of the existing categories and can be anything from a full restoration project, to sculpture, an extension or a stone lined wet-room. Our galleries below showacse many of our masons' skills, honed over many years to produce stunning stone works.

There are such a wide range of stones available, limestones are easy to carve and can be made into fantastic fireplaces and staircases, sandstones are porous and suitable for exterior use as they blend in to their environment within a couple of years, slates are finely particled and particularly suited to engraving. Our masons would be happy to specify the best stone for your job.
Our masons have also worked in the past to produce headstones, benches, driveways and commissioned pieces of stone built installation artwork and sculptures. If it is possible to produce your piece in stone then The Stonemasonry Company have the skill-set to make it reality.
